So really quickly about me: Hi, you can call me Sascha, I go by he/they pronouns unless something else is funnier in context, I speak german, english and dutch fluently, though this site is entirely in english, I am an anarchist, a huge nerd about psychology, philosophy and sociology, I deeply believe in the personal/indie web and I have been balls deep in fandom culture since I was like 12.

So hello there, as you can read on the side box, my name is Sascha, pronouns are he/they unless something else is funnier in context. This is the proper about me section and I do apologise in advance, I am terrible when it comes to writing about myself but hey, you chose to read this, so suffer ;].

About me

❧Okay, so here's the rundown, I'm a huge nerd, I tend to fall down fandom rabbit holes, I've got the Autism and ADHD two for one combo pack and while that may change as I get older or whatever, for now I've made it my life's goal to make the world a less depressingly beige place. That means everything from dressing fun to some very mild vandalism involving primarily glitter and googly eyes. I'm also an anarchist and, by extention, a communist (though I dislike calling myself that) and while I don't quite share the aesthetics, I do hang out with a lot of punks and in my local punk spaces (well space, singular, there's really only one spot in the city nearest to me, I'm in the conservative german country side and that will tell you absolutely nothing, because there's a lot of those here). I'm transmasc, nonbinary, gay and largely fem presenting (because let's be real here, it's all fabric, men's clothing is largely depressing and jewelry and makeup are fucking fun), I've got a lot of opinions on politics you'll get to figure out as you read this site and the blog, I've got a special interest in psychology and specifically hypnosis and I'm both a witch and a modern, eclectic pagan (yes those are different, look it up), more on that on the magick tab.❧

Online stuff

❧Alright, let's start with the online stuff. You'll be able to find most of my online presence on the links page, but for the most part? I spend a lot of time on tumblr, I've got a mastodon account I occasionally check and a bluesky account that lay abandoned for a long time now, I read my fanfiction on AO3, that's about all you need to know. I hate AI with a burning passion and' I do believe the personal and indie web are the solution for de-shittifying the internet at least a little and if you want to make your own site and you want some guidance from someone who doesn't really know what they're doing either? Hit me up, I'm always happy to give feedback or pointers within my ability.❧

❧I spend a lot of time on the internet, part of the reason for that is that as a chronically ill person I don't really get that much of a chance for life offline and while that has been steadily improving over the last year or so, I still can't do nearly as much as most able bodied people, that includes things like school or work which sucks, so this is basically my way to make my mum's couch feel less lonely by screaming into the void❧

Offline stuff

❧And then there is the offline stuff. Like I said, I'm chronically ill, specifically post covid with, among other things, ME/CFS, that is chronic fatigue and if you're tempted to go "oh I'm usually tired too, lol" please, for the love of fuck don't. Fatigue isn't just being tired and you've clearly never known fatigue if you're tempted to say that in some bullshit attempt to show sympathy and if you ever do that to me in real life I might just have to strangle you. Beyond the chronic illness? I play bass guitar, I've got some flow toys, mainly dragon staff and levi wand that I'm having a lot of fun playing around with when my body does decide to be able to handle some physical activity, I used to read a lot though that has long moved into primarily audiobooks since that allows me to do things on the side (like work on this website), I occasionally do crafts, I've been getting into chainmialle lately, I can gm far too many ttrpgs including dnd, VtM, Changeling, Cyberpunk, Call of Cathulu, and, most recently, Mage the Ascention, I love myself a good board game and I'm prone to ending up on side quests whenever I do manage to leave the house to meet up with some friends.❧
